HOW IT STARTED
Why we built Qubix
In 2011, our founders were frustrated. They wanted to invest — not just in stocks, but in gold, real estate, and tangible assets. Every platform they tried was either too complex, too expensive, or limited to a single asset class. Brokerages offered stocks. Specialist platforms offered metals. Real estate required tens of thousands of dollars just to get started.
There was no single place to build a truly diversified portfolio from scratch, with a small amount of capital, without needing a financial advisor or a large bank account.
So we built one. Qubix launched with one mission: give every investor — regardless of background or balance — access to the same asset classes that institutions and high-net-worth individuals have always used to build and protect wealth.

2011
The idea is born
Frustrated by the fragmented investment landscape, our founders begin building the first version of Qubix — a unified platform for stocks, metals, real estate, and physical assets.
2012
Platform development
Core infrastructure is built — live market data feeds, crypto deposit rails, fractional share engine, and the portfolio dashboard that would become Qubix's signature.
2013
Private beta launch
Qubix opens to a closed group of early investors. Real estate and physical asset vaulting are added. First dividends are paid to investors.
2014
Public launch
Qubix opens its doors to the public. Thousands of investors across multiple countries join the platform in the first months.
2025 — Present
Scaling globally
Qubix continues to expand its asset catalogue, onboard new real estate properties, and deepen its physical commodities offering — with more markets and currencies on the way.
